Introduction
The TraceTek leak detection and locating system was developed in the early 1980s and over 32 million feet/10 million meters of leak detection cables have since been sold worldwide.
THE TRACETEK LEAK DETECTION SYSTEM BASIC FEATURES INCLUDE:
- Sensing cables and probes which accurately detect and pinpoint the source of the leak. Our water sensing cables can be used below raised floors and in overhead piping drip trays. The system offers flat probes for sumps or damp areas, and miniature probes for tight areas.
- Leader and/or jumper cables that connect the control panel or module to the sensing cable/components
- End termination on every leg of the sensing cable in the circuit
- Accessories such as hold-down clips, that are used to secure the sensing cable in place
- Sensor interface modules (SIM), providing the excitation voltage necessary to operate the cable or probes. The SIM then monitors analog current and voltage levels to determine when and where a leak has occurred. The measurements are digitized and transmitted back to the control and alarm user interface, allowing integration with higher level systems. These SIM can be either non-locating alarm modules for small area coverage, or locating and alarm modules that can monitor multiple large areas.

TT1000 Water Sensing Cable, Modular:
A range of fixed length modular water sensing leak detection cable, with plastic connectors.
TT1100-OHP Water Sensing Cable for Suspended Piping, Modular:
A range of fixed length water detecting cable intended for use on the bottom side of suspended or rack mounted pipe
Flat Water Sensing Probe:
TT-FLAT-PROBE is used to detect water leaks in low spots, drip trays or sumps
TTSIM-1A Sensor Interface Module:
A sensor interface module with capacity to monitor up to 150 m (500 ft) of sensor cable. Leak alarm signaling is via LED , dry contact relay, and serial data remotely.
