In this course, participants will explore the unique challenges associated with Lightning protection and grounding solar PV generation plant assets. The session will provide insights into the specific risks and considerations for ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of solar power systems. We will discuss standards IEEE 2778, IEEE80, AS2067 which apply to different parts of solar installations. Best industry practices will be discussed for parts of the installation where a written code may not exist.
